The Hidden Reason You Don’t Get What You Want

Have you ever felt like you were spinning your wheels with all this self-help stuff? You’ve created vision boards. You practice affirmations, and you have asked for what you want. Yet, it’s not showing up.

You’ve been told you are a natural creator, and every desire you hold is a request sent out to the Universe, to life, to your own subconscious. But here’s the kicker: your subconscious mind has some form of resistance. And that resistance comes out in behaviors which can be fixed with intention, Hypnosis, or a Belief Code session.

Three Pillars of Subconscious Refusal

When you break down the common negative thought patterns, you see three main behaviors that keep the good stuff out.

Pillar One: Complaining is Refusing to Receive

We often complain to vent, connect with others, or as a habit. When you complain about anything, you are holding yourself firmly in the vibration of the problem. I will say that again: When you complain, you are holding yourself firmly in the vibration of the problem. This prevents anything positive from happening.

By focusing your energy on the lack of a solution, you are actively refusing the good things you desire. Complaining doesn’t solve the problem; it keeps you loyal to it. Here are some common things we complain about: our boss, the weather, traffic, politicians, and money.

How to hack Complaints

Wear a loose rubber band or hair tie on your wrist. Every time you catch yourself complaining (or justifying or blaming), gently snap the band or simply move the hair tie to the other wrist. This creates a moment of mindfulness where you have choice. It also trains your brain to notice the complaint as it happens.

When you catch yourself complaining, you must immediately ask, “What’s right about this I’m not getting?” This is an Access Consciousness tool we use that creates a question in our brain to look for an answer. Don’t answer the question. Just keep asking the question until you have an awareness. You may have to ask, “What’s right about this I’m not getting?” many, many times.

The last step may be hard for some and easier for others: Stop The Complaint.

When you stop the complaint, you are choosing to shift your identity from that of a victim (who talks about problems) to that of a creator (who focuses on solutions and what’s working). It’s a daily, conscious choice that gets easier when you use hypnosis to get to the root of the who, what, when, and where you stepped into the victim mentality.

Piller Two: Justifying is Refusing to Let In

Justifying is how your ego defends its current position, even if that position is keeping you stuck. When you justify, you build a logical fortress around your current reality, protecting it from change. You are arguing for your limitation. Let me repeat that: You are arguing for your limitation, thereby refusing to let in the very abundance and ease that you’ve been asking for.

Justification is rooted in the fear of being wrong, judged, or inadequate. To stop, you must address both the conscious habit of over-explaining and the subconscious need for defense.

The first step is noticing the internal trigger that makes you feel the need to justify.  Pay attention to the situations that cause you to launch into a defensive explanation (which is very helpful when you come for a Hypnosis or Belief Code session):

Notice what happens when someone points out an error, or they  ask for clarification on a decision you made. Sometimes it shows up when you feel your choice is being challenged or, when you feel guilty or inadequate about something you’ve said or done.

Keep a mental note (or a physical journal) of the phrase you use right before you justify. It’s sounds like: “Well, the reason I did that was…” or “I know, but…

Drop the mental argument you were preparing and pause. Take a deep breath. Ask yourself: “Does this situation actually require a detailed, defensive explanation, or can I just give a simple, factual answer?”

Often, a simple response like “That’s a good point,” “I’ll consider that,” or “You are right. I made a mistake, and here is how I plan to correct it. ”  “I see it differently,” can also be used.

Your tendency to justify comes from an subconscious belief that your actions or choices are inherently flawed and need vigorous defense. This belief acts as resistance. Hypnosis and Belief Code work can help reverse this.

Pillar Three: Blaming is Refusing to Let In

Blaming is the most obvious form of resistance. When you point the finger at a person, an organization, or an event for your lack of success, joy, or wealth, you give away your power. When the cause of your discomfort is outside of you, the solution is also outside of you. By holding someone else responsible, you are putting a hard stop on your receiving because you’ve decided you’re powerless to receive it until they change.

When you stop the habit of blaming, you consciously choose personal ownership over external victimhood.

You cannot control what others do, what the market does, or what the weather does.  You can control your reaction, your effort, and your next decision.

Ask, “What’s next?,” and “What else is possible?” These Access Consciousness questions can help you move forward and take control as you look for solutions and possibilities.

Clarifying questions help.  “What am I learning from this situation?” or “How can I prevent this from happening again?” and “What is the best way forward?” will move you away from blame and into finding solutions.

Blaming is a deep, subconscious refusal to take responsibility for your own happiness. To stop it permanently, you must change the internal programming.

Hypnosis, Belief Code, and deeper self-reflection can reveal that the intention behind blaming is often you trying to protect your self-image or avoid pain.

Why You Can’t Just ‘Think Positive

It’s important to stress you aren’t consciously refusing what you’ve been asking for. You aren’t sitting there thinking, “I really hope I don’t get that job promotion.”

The refusal comes in the form of guilt, anger, self-pity, resentment, and fear. It doesn’t matter what negative emotion you call it; it’s all the same signal: resistance.

You can try to suppress a complaint or force yourself to smile, yet when the deep-seated pattern of justification or blame is rooted in your subconscious mind, your old habits will keep rising to the surface.

Where Hypnosis and Belief Code Help

If complaining, justifying, and blaming are products of your subconscious programming that were formed by past experiences and repeated thoughts, or learned from your parents, then the solution must involve changing that programming.

Hypnosis is simply a deeply focused state of relaxation where your critical, conscious mind steps aside. This allows access to the subconscious mind which is the part of you that holds the habits, beliefs, and emotional patterns responsible for your resistance.

Belief Code allows the practitioner to muscle test you. This allows us to find the negative programs, limiting beliefs, faulty core beliefs and your faulty core identities that are hiding in your subconscious mind.

Hypnosis Helps You Stop Refusing

Instead of just treating the symptom (the complaint), hypnosis can help you identify and neutralize the core belief causing it. For example, if you constantly complain about money, hypnosis can help replace the fear-based belief: “I am unsafe unless I worry about money,” with an empowering belief: “I am capable of creating and receiving abundance.

Feeling guilty, angry, or resentful are powerful forms of refusal. Hypnosis can help you gently release the energetic and emotional anchors holding those past feelings in place.

By utilizing positive suggestions and visualization while in a deeply relaxed state, hypnosis directly teaches your mind and body how to be in a state of allowance. It helps you cultivate the feeling of ease and worthiness, making the receiving of your desires feel natural and automatic, rather than a struggle.

Your job isn’t to try harder to manifest. Your job is to simply release the resistance to what you’ve already asked for. Hypnosis and the Belief Code provide a powerful, direct path to make that release happen at the deepest level possible.

In hypnosis we can open the door to more. Your subconscious mind is simply waiting for you to become congruent with what you are asking for.

The Belief Code allows you to deconstruct what you can’t achieve by deleting the old and placing new beliefs into your subconscious mind. As children we don’t have a voice. Many of us were scolded, negated, and shamed.  When we react and resist, we push against what we want. When we align and agree with a suggestion, we have solidified it into our subconscious mind. Both of those positions stop our receiving.

When we complain about how ‘it’ was or wasn’t, or justify the who, what, and why we can’t do something, we become powerless. When we give up blaming ‘them’ for what they did we step into our own power.

You are allowed to ask for what you want and you can receive. I can help you using Hypnosis and/or Belief Code. Schedule your 15 minute consultation here.
