Health, Harmony and Hypnosis

Clear thinking, focus, creativity, and good judgment are built when the brain goes beyond routine. Hypnosis changes your brain by getting in touch with subconscious programs that no longer work for you.

You can create change in your own brain by using any one of the following tools. Do as many as you like and notice how you feel.

Start by making a demand of yourself, “I will step out of my comfort zone and do one thing different today by saying I will. Here are easy places for you to start.

I will listen to healing frequencies on YouTube. This will give my body the benefit of sound therapy. I will listen to a gong bath, Binaural beats, and/or a solfeggio frequency.

I will turn off all news for one day every week. By turning off the news, I will reduce chronic stress, anxiety, and feelings of helplessness by removing constant exposure to negative events. This will allow my mind to reset.

Just for today I will try deep breathing exercises. This activates the body’s relaxation response, lowers stress hormones, and improves oxygen flow which leads to reduced anxiety, better focus, lower blood pressure, improved sleep, and enhanced mood.

I will smile at everyone I encounter today. Smiling boosts my mood by releasing endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine, while lowering stress-inducing cortisol.

Just for today, I will stop and get gas at a station I’ve never visited. This simple act of novelty acts as a “brain gym,” strengthening my neural pathways, enhancing mental sharpness, and releasing dopamine, which improves mood and boosts well-being.

I will use a coloring book or draw for fifteen minutes today. This enhances my connectivity, improves memory, and boosts my motor skills.

I can solve a puzzle today. This can be a jigsaw puzzle, crossword, Sudoku, or a logic game. This helps my brain by improving memory, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Just for today, I’ll drink a cup of water every hour. This ensures consistent hydration, which optimizes bodily functions, boosts cognitive energy, improves digestion, and supports skin health.

I will stop myself from venting no matter what shows up today. Expressing my frustrations too frequently or too intensely dampens my motivation to change what I’m upset about. I can and I will change those things that are not working for me.

I will volunteer somewhere. Anywhere. This will connect me to my community, offer me new perspectives, and contribute to personal growth while helping others.

Today I will eat food I have never eaten. It could be some fruit I’ve never tried, a vegetable that is foreign to me, or eating at an exotic restaurant where I might not recognize the menu options. Eating a diverse diet fosters a healthy, varied gut microbiome, enhancing nutrient absorption, boosting immune function, and reducing inflammation.

I will go to my favorite store today and leave without buying anything. This reinforces disciplined spending and helps me avoid purchasing things I do not need or cannot afford.

I will check out a new hobby. Hobbies provide a necessary escape from daily pressures, reducing anxiety and burnout. Looking into doing something different creates anticipation. Anticipation turns future goals into present joy, reducing stress, enhancing motivation, and strengthening resilience.

Just for today, imagine a positive future where you are happy and smiling. Ask yourself questions that allow your mind to search for information:

What would it take to create that happy future?

What step can I take today to create that future right away?  And, “What else is possible?” Don’t ask these questions from conclusion. Ask the questions as you wonder what will present itself for your pleasure.

Imagine the changes you can receive from hypnosis when you let go of old habits, behaviors, patterns in your life, and icky childhood feelings. Great sleep. Less stress. New improved ways of seeing, feeling and doing. Hypnosis allows the discharge of triggers and self-sabotage can be a thing of the past.

Just for today do one thing different and recognize small changes daily lead to clear thinking, focus, creativity, and good judgment.
